08h00-08h30. Volunteers move food packs to Gate 2 DITTON rd pick-up point.
08h30-08h50. Contestants & transport arrive UJ Kingsway campus Gate 2 DITTON Road pick-up point
09h00. Buses depart UJ and other collection points for Zwartkops Raceway
09h30-10h00. Participants and volunteers arrive at Zwartkops Int Raceway
10h00. Competition venue opens for testing robots on practice maze
10h30-11h00. Teams must start registering
12h00-14h00. Competition - all robots in Maze
14h00. AfrikaBot maze closed.
14h00-14h15. Scoring
14h15-14h30. Results published, objections adjudicated & final result.
14h30-14h45. Prizegiving: AfrikaBot
14h50. AfrikaBot ends

TIMETABLE: FIND A CLASS THAT SUITS YOUR SCHEDULE

In the RobotScience project teenagers age 14+ (Grade 8 onwards) build their own fully programmable robots, which introduces teenagers to the practical use of electronics and programming to control stuff.

Pre-teens interested in robotics, but not yet capable of using hot soldering irons without burning themselves, can attend a UJ TechnoLab Holiday Club to program the robots.
